Frequently asked questions
When do the classes start?
All regular, honors, AP, and credit recovery courses start on any Monday of the year. That's 52 opportunities in a year to begin online work.
Dual credit courses vary in their stop and start dates. Check with Amy Nighbert at email@example.com for specific dates.
How long are the courses?
All half credit and full credit courses have great flexibility in their length. The shortest amount of time a student can complete a semester course is six (6) weeks, but he/she can also take up to a year to finish it.
Credit recovery courses are not as flexible. These courses are strictly ten (10) weeks with no opportunity for extensions.
Dual credit courses vary in length. They can range from eight (8) weeks to sixteen (16) weeks.
I found a course I want to take. What do I do next?
Contact Amy Nighbert at firstname.lastname@example.org for registration information. All fees must be paid before course enrollment.
What I can expect in these courses?
All high school courses are divided into modules of study. Within each module, a student can expect a variety of presentation styles and assessments. At the end of each module, there is an online test as well as an oral assessment, done by phone or skype.
